Psychiatric Evaluation

A psychiatric evaluation, or assessment, is the process of gathering information about a person within a psychiatric service, with the purpose of making a diagnosis. The assessment is usually the first stage of a treatment process.

Intense, excessive, and persistent worry and fear about everyday situations. Fast heart rate, rapid breathing, sweating, and feeling tired may occur

Depression

A group of conditions associated with the elevation or lowering of a person's mood, such as depression or bipolar disorder.

Mental Health Treatment

Treatment varies with the type of mental disorder but almost always involves psychiatric counseling. Sometimes medications may be prescribed as well.
